Olympus Sp800 is a good digital camera which can be afforded for general purpose. This camera is for those people who are already friendly with taking pictures and using camera. Price of this camera is Rs.18395 so any person who is passionate for camera doesn’t mind buying it.

Sensor photo detector of Olympus Sp800 is 14.7 megapixels whereas effective pixels are 14 megapixels. 14 megapixels separates this camera from the category of entry level digital camera as 14 megapixel cameras is for people who know how to use capture good pictures. This camera has TruePic 3 processor and when we consider sensor type, it has CCD sensor of ½.3₺. Default resolution of this camera is 4288×3216 but this is not the end because there are several other resolutions too i.e. 4288×2416, 3264×2448, 2560×1920, 2048×1536, 1920×1080, 1600×1200, 1280×960 and 640×480.
ISO of Olympus Sp800 are auto, high auto, 64, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 (6400 and 10000 with boost). There are 6 white balance presets in this digital camera which enables the user to capture pictures of better white balance. Olympus Sp800 also has image stabilization which helps to take images of sudden moments quickly without much lack of clarity. The only thing that comes under image category but this camera doesn’t has is custom white balance. . Hence, when overall sensor and image is being reviewed, the camera is quite good as it has all things which may be desired by the user.

Other than this, different flash modes like red-eye, auto, on and off are present and metering modes are also there.
