The petrol version this sedan has been launched with variants. The 320i variant having a capacity of 1995 cc commanding petrol engine can chalk out 115 kW power with 6400 rpm and a torque not exceeding 200 Nm with 3600 rpm. The output generated by the 325i model is 158 kW with 6500 rpm and a torque not exceeding 246 Nm with 4000 rpm. On the other hand the diesel model (320d) is enhanced by four cylinder engine having 1995 cc power that can generate 130 kW of power with 4000 revolution per minute and torque of maximum 350 Nm with 1750 to 3000 rpm. The engine also has technological features like Valvetronic and double vanos which makes the engine performance effective. The new rail inject feature technology increases ensures smooth running and fuel saving.

Mileage and average: 

 This sedan apart from being a fuel saving car is also a fuel efficient car giving a mileage of 12.1 kilometers per liter. This shows that it not only possesses looks but promises of performance too. The maximum speed is 281 km/hr and can zoom to a speed oh 100 km in just 9.8 second. The speed varies in variants.

Power:  

This sedan is made powerful by a powerful four cylinder engine that can create a power of upto 306 hp as per our whims. The new engine which has been launched, The TwinPower Turbo engine has changed the way a car runs. It ensures greater speed with fuel efficiency. This new engine can accelerate the car from zero to 100 in just 5.6 second which is available in 335i.

Exterior Appearance: 

The BMW 3 series has sporty kind of a look that differentiates it from the other cars. The car has a double-kidney trellis in the front. The headlights at the corner of the sedan give it wider appearance with sporty look. There is an exhaust outlet which is dual and chrome tipped with tail lights which are L-shaped at the rear part of the car.

Interior:  

A look into the interiors and we can make out that comfort and luxury has been taken prime care while designing this car. A glossy wooden trim can be seen on the dash in front of the steering as well as on the doors of the car and also on the central console. Brake and handling: The control over the car is as smooth as butter and Dynamic Stability Control enables the car system to observe the forces which act on chassis and ensure that they are within limits specified in the system. The damper system soaks up pressure during the movement on the road of bumpy nature, filthy pot holes or any difficult terrain.

Safety: 

The safety features are laden in this car which makes it safer haven for journey.

The features include iDrive located on the central console, tyres of high quality ensures that in puncture situation it can still be driven 250 km, the pressure on tyres monitored by Tyre Control System which keeps the driver abreast with pressure situation in the tyres, seat belts, air bags, active sensors run electronically etc.

Pros: 

The most attractive features is not one that could be mentioned. The look is beautiful with an integration of features which not many cars in the sedan segment would provide. The attraction lies in the central console system and inbuilt features though not visible yet constantly working inside.

Cons: 

The defects are not much that one would be able to point out in this car. The affordability can be issue yet BMW doesn’t look on this matter as it creates such car for high class users.
